Introduction of induction melting furnace

Medium frequency furnace is a power supply device that converts power frequency 50Hz alternating current into medium frequency (above 300Hz to 1000Hz). It converts three-phase power frequency alternating current into direct current after rectification, and then converts direct current into adjustable medium frequency current to supply medium frequency alternating current flowing through capacitor and induction coil, so as to produce high-density magnetic lines in induction coil, and cut the metal material contained in the induction ring, resulting in a large eddy current in the metal material.

Operating principle of IF furnace

1.The principle of medium frequency heating furnace is based on electromagnetic induction heating and follows the electromagnetic effect theory, such as electromagnetic ring effect, skin effect, sharp angle effect, proximity effect, diathermy effect, conduction effect and so on.

2.The medium frequency heating furnace is mainly composed of a frequency converter and an induction coil.The frequency converter converts the power frequency 50Hz AC into the medium frequency 100Hz --- 10000h AC,rectifies the three-phase power frequency AC into DC, and then converts the DC into an adjustable medium frequency current to supply the medium frequency alternating current flowing through the capacitor and the induction coil, generating high-density magnetic lines in the induction coil, and cut the metal material contained in the induction ring, resulting in a large eddy current in the metal material.

3.The frequency conversion device and induction coil of the medium frequency heating furnace generate eddy currents in the heated metal materials.

This eddy current also has some properties of medium frequency current, that is, the free electrons of the metal itself flow in the metal body with resistance to generate heat. For example, put a metal cylinder in an induction coil with alternating medium frequency current. The metal cylinder is not in direct contact with the induction coil. The temperature of the energized coil itself is very low, but the surface of the cylinder is heated to redness or even melting. Moreover, this redness and melting speed can be realized as long as the frequency and current strength are adjusted. If the cylinder is placed in the center of the coil, the temperature around the cylinder is the same, and the cylinder heating and melting do not produce harmful gas and strong light to pollute the environment.

To sum up, the principle of medium frequency heating furnace is based on electromagnetic induction. The whole heating principle designs the heating of medium frequency heating furnace around various electromagnetic effects of electromagnetic.

Characteristics of medium frequency induction

1. Fast heating speed, high production efficiency, less oxidation decarbonization, saving materials and costs and prolonging the service life of the die.

2. Superior working environment, improving workers' working environment and company image, no pollution and low energy consumption.

3. The heating is uniform, the temperature difference between core and surface is very small, and the temperature control accuracy is high.

Advantages of induction furnace

The furnace body adopts the squirrel-cage type frame structure of high quality steel plates fabricated by rolling and welding, with removable covers on its windows and high-quality thick steel plates at bottom. There is a supporting bracket of lining pushing mechanism on the lower part of furnace shell. There are profiling magnetic yokes inside furnace shell which can reduce magnetic leakage, prevent the frame structure from heating, increase electrical efficiency, support induction coils and enhance their strength.

Without taking the yokes away, the assembly, disassembly, maintenance, observation and heat dissipation of induction coils can be conveniently carried out. The furnace cover is lifted and swung by hydraulic or manual system. There is an inspection hole on the top of furnace cover, through which temperature measurement and supplement of alloy materials can be carried out conveniently.The use of furnace cover can reduce heat losses, power consumption and production cost.
